The dynamic response of an infinite beam placed on a Pasternak foundation when the system was subjected to a moving load was investigated. We used the double Fourier transform and its inversion to solve the formulations of the problem. A closed form analytic solution of the beam was obtained by the theorem of residues. We selected a numerical example to illustrate the dynamic response of the beam on Pasternak and Winkler foundations, respectively. We discuss the effect of the moving load velocity on the dynamic displacement response of the beam. The maximum deflection of the beam increases slightly with increased load velocity but increases significantly with reduced shear modulus of subgrade at a given velocity. The maximum deflection of a beam resting on a Pasternak foundation is much smaller than that of a beam on a Winkler foundation.  相似文献   

Traversing the singularity hypersurface by applying the input disturbances to 6-SPS parallel manipulator

The singular points of a 6-SPS Stewart platform are distributed on the multi-dimensional singularity hypersurface in the task-space, which divides the workspace of the manipulator into several singularity-free regions. Because of the motion un- certainty at singular points, while the manipulator traverses this kind of hypersurface from one singularity-free region to another, its motion cannot be predetermined. In this paper, a detailed approach for the manipulator to traverse the singularity hypersurface with its non-persistent configuration is presented. First, the singular point transfer disturbance and the pose disturbance, which make the perturbed singular point transfer horizontally and vertically, respectively, are constructed. Through applying these disturbances into the input parameters within the maximum loss control domain, the perturbed persistent configuration is transformed into its corresponding non-persistent one. Under the action of the disturbances, the manipulator can traverse the singularity hypersurface from one singularity-flee region to another with a desired configuration.  相似文献

Drivability improvements for a single-motor parallel hybrid electric vehicle using robust controls

For a single-motor parallel hybrid electric vehicle, during mode transitions （especially the transition from electric drive mode to engine/parallel drive mode, which requires the clutch engagement）, the drivability of the vehicle will be signifi- cantly affected by a clutch torque induced disturbance, driveline oscillations and jerks which can occur without adequate controls. To improve vehicle drivability during mode transitions for a single-motor parallel hybrid electric vehicle, two controllers are proposed. The first controller is the engine-side controller for engine cranking/starting and speed synchronization. The second controller is the motor-side controller for achieving a smooth mode transition with reduced driveline oscillations and jerks under the clutch torque induced disturbance and system uncertainties. The controllers are all composed of a feed-forward control and a robust feedback control. The robust controllers are designed by using the mu synthesis method. In the design process, control- oriented system models that take account of various parameter uncertainties and un-modeled dynamics are used. The results of the simulation demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithms.  相似文献
