Integration of technical vocabulary into peer observation of teaching for Taiwanese elementary school English teachers’ professional learning

This study explored the integration of technical vocabulary into pre-observation conferences and its influence on English teachers’ professional learning and discussion in their post-observation conferences. The conceptual framework based on Harvey [2011. “A Sociocultural-Theory-Based Study of the Impact of Mediation During Post-observation Conferences on Language Teacher Learning.” Unpublished doctoral diss., University of South Florida] and Goe, Biggers, and Croft [2012. Linking Teacher Evaluation to Professional Development: Focusing on Improving Teaching and Learning. Denver, CO: National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality] was used to analyse the questionnaire, audio recordings, and documents collected in seven peer observations of teaching in Taiwan. This study has two major findings. First, English teachers regarded the technical vocabulary as stimuli for their professional learning; however, the range of technical vocabulary used during the post-observation conferences was limited. Second, three major factors affected their use of technical vocabulary. A new model was proposed in order to effectively integrate technical vocabulary into peer observations of teaching for elementary school English teachers’ professional learning.  相似文献

事物的维,就是人们对事物研究的视角、出发点、看问题的角度。任何事物都有众多属性,每站在一种属性上观察研究问题,就可确定事物的一种维。由于事物的属性众多,因此说,事物具有多维性。由于人们受心理定势规律的影响,在观察研究问题时,往往站在某个或某几个固定的维上看问题,而忽视了事物的其他属性,这样常造成看问题的片面性。事物的多维特性,既是客观的,又是主观的。为了帮助人们顺利转换看问题的视角,为了便于人们全面地看问题,顺利进行发散性思维,培养发展创造性思维能力,特对事物的多维属性进行了讨论。  相似文献

Comparison of crowdsourcing platforms from social-psychological and motivational perspectives

The increasing need to compete in innovation and the prevalence of IT in social and economic interactions have led to greater globalization in innovation sourcing, particularly through online crowdsourcing platforms. Crowdsourcing platform participation, a phenomenon inadequately covered, is an instance of providing an innovative solution or idea intertwined with personal and social factors that interact to result in a behavior. A better understanding of the impact of social factors and participants’ hedonic, utilitarian, and social motivations can guide the design and management of these crowdsourcing platforms to foster sustained engagement. This study considered the competitive and social nature of these platforms and analyzed participation intentions from a novel standpoint—a combination of motivational and socio-cognitive perspectives and their relationships within two different types of crowdsourcing platforms: Atizo’s third-party-hosted community and Nokia’s brand-hosted IdeasProject community. A comparison of these two types of crowdsourcing platforms for the same activity of ideation at an individual level revealed differences in behavior determinants based on the platform host type, domain specificity, and mechanisms supporting different motives and social factors.  相似文献   

The neural bases of vitality forms

Unlike emotions, which are short-lasting events accompanied by viscero-motor responses, vitality forms are continuous internal states that modulate the motor behaviors of individuals and are devoid of the autonomic modifications that characterize real emotions. Despite the importance of vitality forms in social life, only recently have neurophysiological studies been devoted to this issue. The first part of this review describes fMRI experiments, showing that the dorso-central insula is activated during the execution, the perception and the imagination of arm actions endowed with different vitality forms as well as during the hearing and the production of speech conveying vitality forms. In the second part, we address the means by which the dorso-central insula modulates the networks for controlling action execution and how the sensory and interoceptive information is conveyed to this insular sector. Finally, we present behavioral data showing the importance of vitality forms in social interactions.  相似文献

为了实现自然资源的规范管理和高效利用,需要对其要素进行长期、连续、稳定的综合观测,从而获得相关的基础数据,掌握资源种类、数量、质量和资源间相互作用过程信息。由于目前中国没有形成统一的自然资源观测指标体系,导致不同区域间资源观测和管理存在差异,使得国家尺度上对自然资源的规范化管理和合理利用难以实现。因此,亟需构建一套适用于国家尺度、科学、系统、规范的自然资源要素综合观测指标体系。本文以解决认识自然生态变化规律、预判发展趋势的基础数据支撑能力不足问题为出发点,参考国内外现有观测（监测）指标体系,确立了自然资源要素综合观测指标体系建立和选取的基本原则;在自然资源要素分类的基础上,采用正、反演相结合、模块化等构建方法,建立了由36个归类模块、6个资源要素综合观测系统和若干个赋能模块构成的自然资源要素综合观测指标体系。通过建立大气-地表-地下多层次,个体-景观-区域多尺度的立体化综合观测网,获取自然资源要素数据,以期实现对自然资源的精细化管理、评价和利用。  相似文献

【目的/意义】随着我国农民信息困境向信息不及时、信息识别困难的转变,以及农村精准信息服务有效供给的缺乏,从供需视角研究农村精准信息服务扩散成为促进三农信息化发展的重要议题。【方法/过程】本研究基于双边市场理论,以技术接受模型为基础,从供需视角建立农村精准信息服务扩散影响因素模型;以西北五省地区的农民和信息提供方为研究样本,通过结构方程方法进行实证分析。【结果/结论】数据结果表明,在需求方,农村精准信息服务扩散主要受农民对提供方的信任、精准信息服务的有用性、平台易用性以及成本的驱动;在提供方,农村精准信息服务扩散主要受提供方的技术易用性感知、自我效能和收益感知的影响。  相似文献
