ABSTRACT

A leading Slavist in Europe and North America, Wolfgang Kasack promoted a unified vision of Russian literature for the twentieth century. In addition to his prolific scholarship, he wrote over eighty reviews of reference works in Russian literature for research libraries for the print and online journal Informationsmittel: IFB between 1996 and 2003. Many of these reviews were published in English in abridged form in the journal Reference Reviews Europe Annual during that same period.  相似文献   

Can't We All Just Get Along? Pan-Domain Collaboration Through an Innovative Collections Review Project at the Royal College of Surgeons of England

ABSTRACT

Although libraries, archives and museums were historically linked as ‘cabinets of curiosity,’ professionalization within the domains in the 19th century seems to have divided these collections. The creation of different working practices and standards built up barriers between these cultural or ‘information’ objects. However, in recent years there has been a well-developed trend towards pan-domain collaborative work which is slowly re-uniting collections and re-establishing links between the specialists that care for them. This article outlines how a project in the Royal College of Surgeons of England brought the library, archive and museum staff together to create a more collaborative environment which has served to benefit the collections, their users, and the staff themselves.  相似文献

目的：评价发表在《循证医学》期刊上的干预类系统评价／Meta分析（SR／MA）的方法学质量。方法：手工检索《循证医学》杂志2001-2011年发表的所有干预类系统评价／Meta分析文献,共纳入70篇,提取文献的基本信息,采用AMSTAR量表评价文献的方法学质量,将数据输入Excel,用SPSS17．0和MetaAnalyst软件进行统计分析。结果：质量评价标准以Cochrane偏倚风险评估工具为主（34篇,48．6％）,AMSTAR的发布、基金资助、作者数量、作者单位性质和数量,对纳入系统评价／Meta分析的方法学质量总评分影响不大,差并不具统计学意义。结论：《循证医学》杂志发表的干预类系统评价／Meta分析方法学质量中等,存在前期研究设计方案缺失、检索策略不够完善、未提供排除文献列表和未交待利益冲突等问题。  相似文献

Many law school courses examine the interplay of law and psychology, economics, poverty and other fields. One of the areas of frequent study has been the impact of women on the law, and of law on women's lives. Understanding courses such as feminist jurisprudence requires information from other areas, broadly called women's studies. Many students have never researched a multidisciplinary topic. From a Trickle to a Flood: A Case Study of the Current Index to Legal Periodicals to Examine the Swell of American Law Journals Published in the Last Fifty Years

Using the lists of journals indexed in the Current Index to Legal Periodicals from the last fifty years, this article analyzes the increase in the number of general law reviews, specialized law journals, student-edited journals, and peer-edited and refereed law journals during the last half-century. Data from the Current Index to Legal Periodicals were combined with further data collected from HeinOnline, American Bar Association (ABA) statistics, and U.S. News & World Report statistics. Comparison of these data not only shows a massive increase in the number of law journal titles being published but also suggests a correlation between the number of law journals published by a law school and its student population, length of time that it has been accredited by the ABA, and its U.S. News & World Report ranking. This article also contains a list of all law journals currently indexed by the Current Index to Legal Periodicals including each journal's date of initial publication, in addition to a list of all print student-edited law journals published by ABA-accredited and provisionally accredited U.S. law schools.  相似文献   

Ever Onward: Expanding the Use of Perma.cc

Authors, law journal staff members, and courts can create permanent citations to online resources with Perma.cc, a free library-sponsored service. This article explores expanding the use of Perma.cc to capture material otherwise inaccessible behind “paywalls” and to material the Bluebook requires authors to cite in print. These expansions would be simple to implement and would enhance the utility of legal citations. The author suggests three areas in which Perma.cc might expand: using Perma.cc to capture images of print-only materials, using Perma.cc as a legal blog repository, and expanding Perma.cc beyond legal citations.  相似文献

基于在线点评的顾客感知服务质量对顾客重复购买意向的影响研究——以福州、厦门、泉州星级酒店为例

文章采用关键事件分析法,以福州、厦门、泉州地区30家酒店顾客在携程网上的在线点评为研究样本,分析顾客感知服务质量五维度对顾客购买意向的影响,并对不同地区、不同星级、不同管理模式、不同经营年限、不同类型的酒店顾客感知的服务质量维度作了对比分析。研究发现：有形性对顾客重复购买意向的影响最大;度假型酒店的有形性、保证性和移情性对顾客重复购买意向的影响最大,而商务型酒店的响应性和可靠性则是顾客最关注的因素;不同管理模式、不同经营年限的酒店因顾客类型不同,影响顾客重复购买意向的影响因素也会存在差异。就此,提出了酒店提高服务质量、增加顾客重复购买意向的相关建议。  相似文献

书评是关于书的评论，但是并非关于书的批评就是书评。关于书评的认识，必须引入一种特别的历史主义的眼光，书评是现代消费社会附着于大众传媒而诞生的一种文本形式。这是尤其不能忽视的关键，否则关于书评的任何讨论都只能是形式主义的。书评决不是自发产生的，它是现代社会文化工业生产中的一个环节；因此，书评的商业动机以及这种动机和作为文化事业自身的价值之间的矛盾也就必须进入思考的范围。书评中的文学批评作为一种特殊的广告，为了成功实现自我，它就必须不能只是一种广告。这就是书评的辩证法，背离这一辩证法，书评必将自我颠覆。  相似文献
