《红楼梦》卷首诗英译文的人际功能初探

韩礼德建构系统功能语法的目的之一是为语篇研究提供一个分析框架。从文献看,用系统功能语法进行语篇分析和文体分析的研究已不少,但把它应用于古诗英译方面的探讨还不多见。文章拟从韩礼德的人际纯理功能入手,分析曹雪芹所著《红楼梦》卷首诗的几种英译文,希望通过讨论来检验系统功能语言学在诗歌分析中的可操作性和可应用性。  相似文献   

On Translating Metaphorical Language

Metaphor, in cognitive linguistics,is considered not only as an ornamental device,but also as an important cognitive instrument. More exactly,it is a cognitive structure mapping from a soarcc domain,usually concrete,to a target domain,usually abstract. Due to different cognitive experiences of different language users,the mapping relations between the two domains may also vary from language to language. This kind of metaphorical language asuallv imposes ditticulties in translation. In regard to this,the paper suggests the following solutions:maintaining the original mapping relations, the substitution of source domain,and the addition or deletion of source domain.  相似文献

文章通过对情景喜剧<我爱我家>中言语不合作现象的研究,证明在情景喜剧中的会话中,人们由于违反Grice的合作原则(Cooperative Principles),即偏离了质的准则,量的准则,关系准则和方式准则,往往会导致会话的幽默性,即此类喜剧中的"包袱",这正是该剧的魅力所在.  相似文献
