We developed a new method for releasing viable cells from affinity-based microfluidic devices. The lumen of a microchannel with a U-shape and user-designed microstructures was coated with supported lipid bilayers functionalized by epithelial cell adhesion molecule antibodies to capture circulating epithelial cells of influx solution. After the capturing process, air foam was introduced into channels for releasing target cells and then carrying them to a small area of membrane. The results show that when the air foam is driven at linear velocity of 4.2 mm/s for more than 20 min or at linear velocity of 8.4 mm/s for more than 10 min, the cell releasing efficiency approaches 100%. This flow-induced shear stress is much less than the physiological level (15 dyn/cm2), which is necessary to maintain the intactness of released cells. Combining the design of microstructures of the microfluidic system, the cell recovery on the membrane exceeds 90%. Importantly, we demonstrate that the cells released by air foam are viable and could be cultured in vitro. This novel method for releasing cells could power the microfluidic platform for isolating and identifying circulating tumor cells. 相似文献

Leadership is an important factor affecting organizational innovation. Many studies show that transformational leadership
has positive and significant influence on organizational innovation. Based on a literature review and previous work, this
study aims to investigate the influence of transformational leadership on organizational innovation and to examine whether
organizational learning is a mediator between their relationships. Structural equation modeling was used to test the model.
The research sample consisted of 330 teachers in charge of administration in postsecondary schools. The findings of this study
provide evidence that transformational leadership and organizational learning have significant positive relationship influence
on organizational innovation. The research also demonstrates that there is significant effect on the role of mediation in
organizational learning on the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational innovation. The study suggests
that if school principals use the strategies of transformational leadership and organizational learning at the same time,
organizational learning was highly effectiveness to achieve organizational innovation in the postsecondary schools. 相似文献

There is a lack of research in the area of the influence that task autonomy (TA), organizational learning (OL), and group cohesiveness (GC) can have on technical education teachers' innovation of professional development (IOPD). Therefore, this study aimed to probe into the influences of TA, OL, and GC on IOPD by technical education teachers, and their relationships. We conducted a questionnaire survey on 265 full-time teachers. The results showed that TA, GC, and OL of technical education teachers revealed significant positive relationships with the degree of IOPD. The teachers' TA and OL are critical factors to their IOPD, as they are positive predictors. 相似文献
