ABSTRACTMarie-Jose Mondzain is one of the major philosophers writing about image, iconography, and representation today. In this interview, she discusses a few of the central ideas in her approach to and thinking about the nature of image and image-making as they bear upon the emergence of subjectivity and visibility in general. According to Mondzain, images are not visual objects we may or may not see; rather they are the site where the visible and its invisibility crisscross each other in opening the field of presence. Images, as Mondzain says in the interview, are cracks or leaks in being. They are where lights first come in and where man and beings are born to each other in their being-in-the world, that is, in their truth. Moving beyond historical and theoretical reflections, Mondzain turns to discuss things and scenes of mass media of late, addressing issues of pleasure, anxiety, desire, and the like, wherein ideologies, power, and the lure of images can be seen to intersect with our everyday life that has become irrevocably one of passive mobility. 21世纪的旅行形态日趋多元化,在众多的上海旅游中,其中有一类是以“张爱玲”作为关键词来安排旅行景点并写下旅游感悟的。依据JohnUrry的旅游研究看来,这一类几乎接近于朝圣的旅游类型,具备了观光凝视的综合特质以及主观性与幻觉性特点,这一个由张爱玲迷们组成的、可称为“朝圣之旅”的观光行为,甚至可以跨越官方与商业操作,以民间的、小众的力量自行生产“观光景点”。因此可以说,文学作家的影响力足以跨越文学领域引发观光效应。 相似文献

ABSTRACT The role and importance of peripheral vision have been discussed across various sports. Yet, its functionality remains unclear and the terms employed in the literature to characterize the use of peripheral vision are not well defined. We present a review of 29 studies focusing on the use of peripheral vision in sports. We focus on the methodological approaches employed to study its use and identify the mechanisms that may underlie the effective use of peripheral vision in sport. We define key differences between ‘gaze anchors’ and ‘visual pivots’ and introduce the concept of a ‘foveal spot’. All three gaze behaviors, while being characterized by a consistent, dynamically adjustable gaze location, have different functionalities. A gaze anchor is a cue-optimized position used for the monitoring of peripheral cues and avoiding the negative consequences of saccades (i.e. information suppression), especially under time pressure. A visual pivot is a distance-optimized location between relevant cues which allows athletes to optimally initiate saccades to those cues, especially if the costs of eye-movements are low. A foveal spot is primarily used for information processing via the fovea. Finally, we highlight suggestions for future research to improve our understanding of the functional differences between these gaze behaviors. 相似文献

This study compares the motor skills and physical fitness of school-age children (6-12 years) with visual impairments (VI; n = 60) and sighted children (n = 60). The relationships between the performance parameters and the children's body composition are investigated as well as the role of the severity of the impairment. The degree of VI did not differentially affect the outcomes. Compared to their sighted peers, the children with VI scored lower on the locomotor and object control skills as assessed with the Test of Gross Motor Development-2, and the physical fitness (Eurofit) parameters of plate tapping, the standing broad jump, the modified 5 × 10-m shuttle run, and 20-m multistage shuttle run (20-MST). Their body mass and body fat indexes were inversely correlated with the standing broad jump and the 20-MST, but positively correlated with handgrip strength. Moreover, significant inverse correlations were found between their locomotor and object control skills on the one hand and plate tapping and the 5 × 10-m shuttle run on the other hand. Given the relatively high proportion (25%) of overweight/obese children within the VI sample, educators are recommended to promote health-related activities and help enhance motor skills in this population. 相似文献

从拉康镜像论交叉视域看,《福尔赛世家》中的伊琳,身处典型男权制社会的女性,其主体构建过程必然决定于男性＂他者＂与她之间的千丝万缕的联系：在男权制社会意识形态对女性的＂规范性注视＂下,以及其夫索米斯提供的否定她自我的存在的＂他者＂与她的主体构建形成一种否定关系时,她的女性自我意识被极度压抑,几近泯灭;与志趣相投、两情相悦的波辛尼互相吸引,互为镜像,从对方的镜像中看到自己认同的＂他者＂,她的自我意识开始复苏萌芽;而老乔里恩对她的无私援助与精神支持和小乔里恩对她的欣赏肯定及灵魂交流所提供的＂他者＂的持续同化也幻化为她的镜中之像,成为她构建自我的对应物,最终成就了她的主体构建。 相似文献
