Plagiarism remains at the top in terms of interest to the scientific community. In its many vicious forms, patchwork plagiarism is characterized by numerous unresolved issues and often passes “below the radar” of editors and reviewers. The problem of detecting the complexity of misconduct has been partially resolved by plagiarism detection software. However, interpretation of relevant reports is not always obvious or easy. This article deals with plagiarism in general and patchwork plagiarism in particular, as well as related problems that editors must deal with to maintain the integrity of scientific journals.  相似文献

通过对1块普通混凝土板、1块拼接叠合板和1块加强拼接叠合板进行静力载荷破坏性试验,深入研究各试件的破坏特性、承载能力、变形能力及刚度等,并将3块板进行对比分析。试验结果表明,在拼接缝处有可靠的连接构造情况下,拼接叠合板的承载能力较普通现浇板要明显提高,说明结构设计合理。  相似文献

The role of assessment is constantly evolving and systematically scrutinised within the realm of higher education. It is often argued that students learn faster and more effectively when they have a clear sense of how they are doing and how they can improve through the use of consistent and timely feedback. This paper presents research with a group of second-year undergraduates, using an adapted patchwork text assessment method to explore wider issues of the ethical environment within which assessment takes place.  相似文献

An emerging form of assessment is the patchwork text, an application of assessment for learning, as opposed to assessment of learning. A framework for making choices in how to use patchwork texts in higher education courses is developed, drawing on prior research on, and use of, patchwork texts. These choices reflect the fundamental objectives of patchwork texts, namely continuous learning, deep learning, integrated understanding and critical self‐reflection, while also offering options for patchwork texts which can be tailored to particular courses and individual preferences.  相似文献
