Four standards and best practices recently released or currently underway at the National Information Standards Organization were presented: Knowledge Bases and Related Tools, Presentation and Identification of E-Journals, Open Discovery Initiative, and Open Access Metadata Indicators. Basics outlining the creation work and deliverables were shared for each project. ABSTRACTThe Deep Dive into KBART preconference workshop provided a comprehensive overview of the National Information Standards Organization Knowledge Bases and Related Tools (KBART) Phase II Recommended Practice (http://www.niso.org/publications/rp/rp-9–2014/). The workshop was divided into four sections. The first provided an overview of the background, purpose, and value of KBART to all members of the information supply chain. The next section focused on the basic guidelines for effective exchange of metadata with knowledgebases, including method of exchange, data format, file naming conventions, and frequency of exchange. The remaining two sections of the workshop addressed the correct use of KBART data fields, first in relation to serials and then to monographs. Through classroom instruction, interactive quizzes, and hands-on exercises, the workshop provided in-depth coverage of all KBART data elements, with special focus on many of the most frequently asked questions about the recommended practice. 相似文献

The Bases of Competence model provides a general framework for learner‐centred skill development and programme‐focused outcomes assessment. Based on previous research, the Bases of Competence model describes 17 skills and four base competencies important to graduates to achieve high performance in the workplace. Taking this work from research to relevant educational application as a tool for student self‐assessment and institutional outcomes assessment is the focus of this paper. Results from a multi‐year, multi‐course assessment initiative indicate that students rate themselves stronger in the foundation base competencies of Communicating and Managing Self, and weaker in more complex competencies of Managing People and Tasks and Mobilising Innovation and Change. Comparisons of skill confidence within each base competence as well as between year, student level, gender and beginning versus end of semester are presented as well. These results are discussed and suggestions made for programme design. 相似文献

伴随着快速工业化和城镇化的进程,中国经济社会面临的能源资源、环境约束日益凸显。在此背景下。如何引导能源资源在中国区域之间的合理配置,保障中国区域能源资源的可持续供应,成为当前中国经济社会可持续发展的根本前提,能源资源区划研究也引起了学界的广泛关注。中国能源区划研究起步较晚,从区域尺度系统探讨煤炭、石油、天然气、水能、太阳能、风能和生物质能资源本底、区际流动,并据此进行能源资源供给区划编制的研究成果较少,鉴于此,本文立足于上述7种能源资源,开展了能源资源本底、区际流动以及区划研究工作。研究结果显示：①从能源资源本底来看,位列煤炭、石油、天然气、水能、太阳能、风能和生物质能资源量前五的省（区、市）所占比例依次为72％、71％、86％、74％、60％、73％和39％;②从能源资源流动看,煤炭资源省际流动范围广、规模大;原油省际流动范围较小,主要表现为北油南运,天然气流动范围较小,主要表现为西气东输;③从能源区划与定位看,煤炭资源划分为国家煤炭基地、地区煤炭基地和煤炭汇集地;原油资源划分为原油主产区、原油接替区与原油汇集区;天然气资源划分为国家天然气基地、地区天然气基地与天然气汇集地;水电资源划分为国家水电基地、地区水电基地和水电输入地;太阳能资源划分为国家太阳能发电基地、地区太阳能发电基地及不适宜开发地;风电开发划分为国家风电基地、地区风电基地与不适宜开发区;非粮生物质能划分为大规模开发区、中小规模开发区、不适宜开发区。 相似文献
