从广告看商务印书馆在晚清的小说宣传

摘    要:从《绣像小说》到《小说月报》,从林译小说到说部丛书,商务印书馆在清末出版发行了大量小说。同时,商务还在当时的报刊上刊登广告大加宣传。这些广告形式多样,内容丰富,刊登周期长。商务通过广告介绍小说内容、宣传小说杂志、提倡翻译小说、扩大小说类型、阐述小说观念,对晚清小说的繁荣起了积极作用。

Abstract:The Commercial Press published a lot of novels in late Qing Dynasty,ranging from Embroidered Portrait Novel to Novel Monthly,from Linshu's translated novels to Novel Series.Great deal of advertisements of those novels with diverse styles and fairly long duration has been published on papers at that time.This reflects that the Commercial Press paid attention to translated novels,abundant novel styles as well as the concepts of novels.According to the advertisements we can see that the Commercial Press devoted itself to the thriving of the novels in Qing Dynasty.
