| Abstract: | This paper focuses on the background and major content of the present curriculum reform in geography in middle schools, and sums up the distingguishing charactistics, practical use and constructive admendments of the textbooks published for the middle school students in coastal areas. It puts forward tentative ideas on the reform in educational planning in geography at normal college level, which are conducive to reform in geography teaching at normal colleges and middle schools. |
