| Abstract: | Beijing University of Physical Education (BUPE) is facing the austere challenge because of the emerging know- ledge economy and the reconstruction of the administration system in colleges and universities adjunctive to State Sport General Administration. In contrast with the reform and development of the higher education at home and abroad possible ways for the teaching reform in BUPE were approached by analyzing the relationships between the popularization of higher education and the teaching reform, between the functions of the institutions and their responsibilities, between the internationalization of higher education and quality evaluation, between the benefits of running a school and workloads of teachers as well as between the quality of teaching and the appointment of teachers. |
