| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the way that Can Xue, the famous Chinese writer carries out her modernistic writing. Based on her self-portrait (the essays in which she described herself and her works), Can Xue's views on literature, which are marked with her advocacy of the subconscious writing, are clearly analyzed. And her poetic depict of the spiritual world of an artist is discussed as well. |
