高职院校英语学习心理及行为的调查分析

摘    要:对高职院校学生的英语学习心理和学习行为进行问卷调查,直接获得第一手资料,非常有助于了解和确认学生在英语学习方面存在的心理倾向和行为模式。调查分析的结果,对高职院校英语教学模式和教学方法的改革提供一些可资决策者参考的启发和依据。调查内容主要分四个部分:英语学习基本情况调查、英语学习主动性调查、英语学习积极性调查和英语学习潜力调查。

Abstract:Based on the survey and research on the study psychology and study behavior of 83 students in the Department of Information Economics and Department of Electronic Communication of Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology (SZIIT),this article is designed to further clarify the students' psychological tendency and behavior mode in learning English,which may provide some inspiration for reforming English educational model and improving the teaching methods.The survey mainly consists of four parts:the general conditions of students' English learning,study initiative,study enthusiasm and study potential.On the basis of that,suggestions are put forward for authorities to consider.First of all,efforts should be made to encourage students to study on their own in their plentiful spare time.Secondly,classroom teaching should be conducted student-centered,practice-based,and skill-based (SPS).Then,multi-mode evaluation should be adopted,that is,in addition to the final examination,a variety of other ways can be given,such as the preparatory,diagnostic,formative,general,et cetera.Apart from the instructor,his colleagues,students' peers,and off-campus specialists can also be invited to evaluate.After all,the very limited hours of classroom teaching are far from enough for technical college students to improve their English work successfully.School should do much more to explore their inner enthusiasm,initiative,and mobilization to work independently as an unavoidable addition to their schoolwork.
