| Abstract: | English teachers' qualities are the determining factors of English teaching activities. This paper discusses the qualities that should be possessed by eligible English teachers from the aspects of personal traits, language abilities, teaching abilities, cross-culture attitudes etc., pointing out that the key to the improvement of foreign language teaching lays in the improvement of teachers' qualities. |
