摘    要:目的/意义]旨在对地球科学学科进行全面画像,为机构、学科制定科技创新战略及"双一流"建设提供数据支撑和竞争力分析。方法/过程]通过比较法,综合对比前人研究,从横向和纵向两个维度,利用2014年11月和2019年11月ESI两次更新数据,对比分析研究领域、国家或地区、研究机构、期刊等地球科学学科的动态发展情况。结果/结论]全面揭示了2015-2019年是中国大陆地球科学学科快速发展的5年,不仅被引频次和篇均被引频次上升幅度较大,而且进入ESI排名的研究机构数上升了2.65倍。虽然研究机构仍以大学为主要研究阵地,但中国科学院下属研究所表现出了强劲的发展势头。培育世界一流科技期刊,让地球科学学科高水平论文写在祖国土地上,是今后研究者的追求和践行的目标。

Abstract:Purpose/significance]The paper is to make a comprehensive portrait of geosciences field, so as to provide data support and competitiveness analysis for institutions and disciplines to formulate scientific and technological innovation strategies and "Double First-Class"construction. Method/process] The paper uses comparative analysis method to conducts a comprehensive comparison of previous studies from the horizontal and vertical dimensions, and analyzes dynamic developments of geosciences from aspects of research fields, country/regions, institutions, journals by using data updated in Nov. 2014 and Nov. 2019. Result/conclusion] The results fully reveal that the five years from 2015 to 2019 witnessed the rapid development of geosciences in the Chinese mainland, not only the cited frequency and the average citation rates both increased significantly, but also the number of research institutions entering the ESI ranking increased by 2.65 times. Although the research institutes are still mainly in the universities, the subordinate institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences have shown a strong development momentum. Cultivating world-class sci-tech journals and writing high-level papers on the land of the motherland are the goals of future researchers.
