| 摘 要： | 本文在分析地质类跨专业生源的研究生对硕士点建设利弊的基础上，总结了对整体提高这类研究生培养质量的思考、探索与实践：采取有效措施，提高生源质量；强化跨专业学生的地质基础，培养地质思维能力；制定指导跨专业研究生导师规范，明确对导师的要求；制定因人而异的培养计划，选好研究方向；制定跨专业研究生须知，培养学生的自律能力；严格中期检查，把好毕业答辩关。这些措施的实施有的已初见成效，有些还有待时间和实践检验。
