| Abstract: | Public signs play significant roles in regulating social behavior,adjusting individual relationship,enhancing productivity and some other social aspects.The function of public signs is to direct,prompt,restrict,and compel the public.Based on the situation of Chinese-English translation of public signs,the communicative translation theory will be applied to analyze the Chinese-English translation in the article. |
