| 摘 要： | 普利策的煽情主义手法具有双重性特点，理论上他强调报纸内容的趣味性、刺激性和教育性，在实际经营过程中又采取煽情主义报道手法，增加可读性以扩大销路，煽情主义是他报纸经营的策略，目的是为了实现报纸的揭露社会弊病的理想，这种双重性说明普利策煽情主义与后来的黄色新闻不尽相同，我们既要看到它的负面作用，也应认识到它在报纸经营策略方面的积极作用。

| Abstract: | Pulitzer's sensationalism has dual character. In term of theory, he stresses character of interest, character of stimulus, and character of education. In management of newspapers, he adopts sensationalism in order to improve readability and expand market. Sensationalism is the tactics of his newspaper management so as to achieve ideal and goal of exposing and educating the society. The dual character indicates Pulitzer's sensationalism is not completely similar with yellow journalism later. We ought to realize the negative factor of Pulitzer's sensationalism, meanwhile the tactics of his newspaper management. |
