外语词汇教学的概念隐喻视角

摘    要:概念隐喻是语言中普遍存在的现象,将概念隐喻运用于外语词汇教学,可以帮助学生理解词语的意义及表达机制。把概念隐喻引入词汇教学就是把词汇看做是目的语概念系统的体现方式,通过词汇教学帮助外语学习者建立起目的语的概念系统,从而使学习者能够流利地表达思想,进行交流,达到词汇教学的最终目的。

Abstract:Conceptual metaphor is the common phenomenon that lies behind of everyday language.The application of conceptual metaphor to English vocabulary teaching and learning can in a degree help students to understand the meaning of foreign language vocabulary and the system of expressions.The application of conceptual metaphor to English vocabulary teaching and learning is to regard vocabulary as the manifestation of the target language conceptual system and help foreign language learners establish the target language conceptual system in vocabulary learning,then learners can express themselves and communicate in the target language fluently.In this way,the final purpose of vocabulary teaching is achieved.
