| Abstract: | A thermophilic bacterium named P4 was isolated from the hot spring samples.The strain P4 is a Geobacillus stearothermophilus,which was determined by the physiological and biochemical tests and 16S rRNA gene sequence.The optimum reaction temperature was between 65℃ to 75℃ and the optimum reaction pH was 8.0.Besides,Zn2+ and Mg2+ accelerate the activity.The result shows that the protease of P4 belongs to thermophilic alkaline protease.The enzyme activity in optical catalytic temperature could reach 10.0U per milliliter fermentation fluid. |
