| 摘 要： | 词汇,作为文化的重要载体,是一定社会的历史、地理、政治、经济、价值观等因素在语言层面上的反映。词汇中的颜色词更是经典地诠释了语言和社会的相互关系,反映了一定的社会现实。英汉颜色词的文化含义差异也是研究语义文化差异的良好素材。本文从颜色词是社会文化现象的生动描述出发,通过收集的大量英汉颜色词,用对比分析的方法,对英汉颜色词所体现的不同社会分层进行了有益的探索和研究。

| Abstract: | Lexicon,as an important component of language,is reflection of historical,political,economic,geo-graphical and other social and cultural factors.This phenomenon finds its best embodiment in the color terms of languages.This essay sets out to discuss the relations between color terms and social factors in English and Chinese languages,further explores the connection between color terms and social strata,and points out that the awareness thus aroused can facilitate the ESL and EFL teaching. |
