| 摘 要： | 晚期洋务派官员和实业家盛宣怀为了培养所需的高级工业技术人才,在举办高等工业教育事业的过程中,坚持洋为中用,大胆利用外籍人才办学;层累而进,夯实高等工业教育基础;立足实际,开设工业生产急需专业;面向世界,重视派遣人才出国留学;中西并重,强调传统文化道德教育。盛宣怀的高等工业教育思想与实践有继承早期洋务派的一面,同时,在创立近代学制、调整高等工业教育的培养目标等方面又有自己独特的历史贡献和影响。

| Abstract: | SHENG Xuan-huai,a westernized official and industrialist in the late Qing Dynasty,adhered to making foreign things serve China by boldly employing foreign experts during the course of running higher industrial education in order to train senior industrial and technical personnel who were badly needed at the time.He made great efforts to lay a solid foundation for higher industrial education step by step;and set up specialties urgently needed for industrial productions based on China’s reality.He also attached importance to sending personnel abroad for education with the focus on the traditional culture and moral education while balancing both China and the west knowledge.SHENG Xuan-huai’s thoughts and practices of higher industrial education inherited from the earlier westernized group on the one hand;on the other hand,his thoughts has a unique historical contribution and impact in founding the modern school system and the adjustment of higher industrial education’s training targets and so on. |
