| 摘 要： | 英国学院派小说家戴维·洛奇的“校园三部曲”中的第二部《小世界》被誉为“西方的《围城》”。前人曾对它的互文性、狂欢化、反讽等方面进行了详尽的阐述,本文将从二元对立到二元共融的角度对小说中的文化冲突、双重叙事结构、荒芜与拯救主题等加以评析,力求更深入地探究作者意图、解读文本。

| Abstract: | The second book Small World in the campus trilogy by David Lodge——English Academism novelist-has been regarded as ＂western Encircled City＂ and achieved the highest status. Many researchers have expounded it from such aspects as intertextuality, carnival and irony. This essay will take the perspective of binary opposition and binary mergenee to explore its cultural conflicts, dual narrative structures and theme of desolation and salvation aiming to probe the author＇s intention and unscramble the text. |
