| Abstract: | The female officers in the Ming Dynasty come from main sources： first the civil women, then palace women with no husbands, who were required to have a wide range of knowledge and high morality. From the geographical point of view, female officers of the early Ming Dynasty were mainly from the south, while in the late Ming Dynasty fe- male officers were mainly from the north. |
