| Abstract: | The novel Red Chamber of Dreams is to the great liking of Zhang Ailin, which leads to her worshipping of it as one of her composition ideals and also as her writing standard. Thus, with the combination of modernized ideas, her novels, based on the norms of Red Chamber of Dreams, are characterized by such special styles as a blending of the ancient and the modern styles, the mixture of western and Chinese styles and the merging of the refined and popular tastes. |
