| 摘 要： | 根据关联理论和图示理论的观点,可从作者对英诗意象的理解多方面探讨英语诗歌中的意象选择问题。意象一方面制约着英诗话语的生成,另一方面也制约着读者对话语的理解。成功的语篇交际依靠双方对意象的恰当选择。读者可通过意象表现来激活头脑中的图式模式,进行演绎推理,感觉和体验是人的情感世界,从而领略诗的表现意境和语境含义。

| Abstract: | Within the frame work of relevance theory and schema theory,the writer discusses the choice of image in English poems from different aspects.Image in English poems constrains utterance production by the writer and its understanding by the reader.Successful communication depends on appropriate choice of image by both the writer and the reader. |
