| 摘 要： | 典籍英译是翻译学科的一个新的分支,随着我国国力增强,国际影响力的提高,越来越多的学者专家开始意识到其由于必要性和不同于现代白话文的行文方式,以及其丰富的文化负载等特殊性,关于典籍英译的研究越来越受到重视。文章从《墨子.兼爱（下）》（节选）入手,从文义层面,文化层面,文风层面对其现有三种译文进行比较分析,试图讨论典籍英译的特征和应对策略。也希望借此机会让更多人来关注《墨子》英译研究。

| Abstract: | The translation of Chinese classics into English is a new branch of translation study.With regard to it specialty and necessity,importance is being attached increasingly to the study of translating Chinese classics.By the comparative analysis of the current three versions of Universal Love from Mozi（excerpt）,the paper tries to discuss the characteristics and strategies respectively in terms of the meaning,style of the source text and culture-loaded information.What＇s more,the paper is keen on raising more people＇s interest in the study of translating Mozi. |
