| 摘 要： | 中西方体育文化的交往出现了两次高峰期。第一次是在公元前后,从亚历山大东征开始,到北匈奴进入欧洲腹地结束,这一时期的交往表现出互相推进的姿态。第二次以1840年的鸦片战争为起点,直到今天,这一阶段的交往以西方体育文化向东倾泻为基本特征,直到最近30年才稍有改观。推动中西方体育文化交往的重要力量有军事战争、民族迁徙、商业往来和文化融合。就某一区域和时间段而言,包括体育在内的文化流动不一定总是从先进到落后,或从文明到愚昧。在国家林立的国际环境里,文化的流动更多地受制于政治、经济和军事的力量。民族体育文化在与异域文化交往的过程中要做到既兼容又自信,首先必须建立在国家的强盛之上。
