| 摘 要： | 现代隐喻研究认为隐喻不仅是一种修辞手段,而且是人类认知、思维、言语和行为的基础。基于这一理论,笔者阐述了英语教学中隐喻能力培养的重要性以及隐喻能力培养的方式,强调英语教学中隐喻能力的培养应从隐喻思维能力的培养,西方文化知识的传授及与英语词汇习得等方面着手,全面提高英语学习者的语言综合能力。

| Abstract: | The modern research on metaphor holds the view that metaphor is not only a rhetoric tool,but also the foundation of human's cognition,thought,language and behavior.Based on this theory,this paper deals with the importance of the cultivation of metaphoric competence in English teaching and the way through which the competence is cultivated.It stresses the cultivation of metaphoric competence should cover the grasp of the metaphoric ideation,western cultural knowledge and vocabulary acquisition in English teaching,aiming to improve the English learners' comprehensive capability. |
