| Abstract: | Mr. Shen Congwen describes a picture of customs, including the beauty of homesickness, relationships and love in ＂the Border Town＂. The author depicts an ideal scene of the border town, from which he infuses with his idea of natual human nature. With the emotional, simple and elegant prose style, the novel describes the tragedy that humans suffer, and represents the helplessness and bleakness of the tragical reality. |
