基于原型范畴理论大学英语多义词教学实证研究

摘    要:简要概述了原型范畴理论的形成过程,并指出原型语义理论是它的进一步发展,然后以实证研究方式论证了原型语义理论在大学英语多义词教学中的重要作用。研究表明:在教学过程中,要注意树立学生的原型词义观、辐射观和隐喻观,重视培养学生的实践观和自主学习意识,真正改变学生的多义词习得模式,从而大大增加多义词习得的数量,并提高学习质量。

Abstract:This paper introduces the forming process of prototype theory,points out that prototypical semantic theory is its further development,and proves the importance of prototypical semantic theory to college English polysemy teaching with an empirical research.It is showed in the research that we should set students' view of prototype meaning,radiation and metaphor in the teaching and pay much attention to developing students' consciousness of self-study so as to change students' acquisition mode of polysemy and promote the quantity and quality of students' polysemy acquisition.
