| 摘 要： | 目前,大学公共英语教学中,应试教育设定的考试内容直接影响教师教授和学生学习的主要目标,据此,文章针对大学公共英语文化教学中存在的对文化教学重视不够,采用传统的听说法和语法翻译法,以本民族文化为标尺,看待其他民族事物,误认为掌握了语言形式就掌握了一门语言等问题,剖析了形成问题的原因,提出了完善教学大纲、加强教材建设、改革考试内容、提高教师的综合素质、增加英语国家文化选修课、进一步改进教学方法、组织第二课堂、充分发挥以英语为母语人士的优势等创新英语文化教学的途径,加深学生对西方文化背景的了解,使其融入到西方文化环境中,提高跨文化英语交际能力。
