| Abstract: | The United States is a nation of immigrants, without whom it would have been impossible to exist. The impact of immigration on the American national character has manifested itself mainly in five aspects, namely, diversity, individualism, the spirit of equality and liberty, practical attitude and migration. The emergence and development of the American nation and the formation of its national character are closely related to such immigration. |
