| Abstract: | Surnames originated from the Totem worship and were the results of low social productivity.With the development of society,surnames are endowed with important social connotations.The origination of Chinese surnames has a deep cultural connotation and reflects the thoughts,customs,and cultural development of the specific historical periods.Studying the origination of Chinese surnames can help have a better understanding of the productive and living state of ancient people as well as their rich emotional world. |
