| Abstract: | The novels translated by Lin-shu had been looked as the earliest canon about western literary in China,but they changed to be of"none literary taste"during the New Culture Movement.The change was influenced by patronage and ideology,which was always ignored in our studies.This paper mainly concerns the Commercial Press,journals and magazines,the use of strategies in the conflict between the old and new literary camp and their influence on the position of novels translated by Lin Shu in Chinese literature. |
