| Abstract: | Because of the misunderstanding of the life - likeness in the art of drawing, some paint-ings have gone astray in their cretion. The life - likeness in painting should include the state of beingtrue to life both objectively and subjectively. The traditional Western drawing emphasized objective reali-ty, while the medern painting is laying more and more emphasis on subjective reality. Even the paintingwhich is realistic in form is not necessarily equivalent to the reality in nature. |
