摘    要:大学英语是实践性强的学科,其核心目的是培养较好的语言运用能力。大学英语学科性质决定了教学模式应该突出学生自主学习与合作学习,而不是知识讲授。自主学习的教学模式决定了充分运用现代教育技术的必要性。现行教师教学质量评价体系比较粗糙,没有依据学科特点进行细化。大学英语教学质量评估应该从知识讲授型学科的教学质量评估体系中独立出来,把现代教育技术的合理和充分运用作为重要评价指标。
