| Abstract: | Ni Bin is one of the most important characters in the novel,Chess King,which is written by A Cheng. Though caught in miserable conditions,he had a distinct personality,who was confident,optimistic and open-minded. With regard to the skills of chess,he was the person who inherited and carried forward the culture of chess,who had great influence on the chess style of Wang Yisheng. The creation of the image of Ni Bin enriches the cultural and thoughts connotation of Chess King from different aspects. |
