| 摘 要： | 20世纪60年代末至70年代,美国《纽约时报》首次集中报道中日钓鱼岛争端,其报道主题主要涉及:日本觊觎并侵犯中国钓鱼岛主权权益、美国政府的钓鱼岛政策、中国政府及海外华人维护钓鱼岛主权的活动、1978年"钓鱼岛事件"等。早期《纽约时报》涉钓报道具有一定程度的客观性,但依然具有浓厚的意识形态偏见,这种偏见源于美日同盟框架下的冷战思维。《纽约时报》涉钓舆论立场与美国同时期钓鱼岛政策是相一致的,很难做到真正的客观公正,这一特征一直延续至今。

| Abstract: | From the late 1960s to the 1970s,The New York Times reported the Sino-Japanese disputes over Diaoyu islands in detail. These reports included Japan’s desire for the islands,its violation of the Chinese sovereignty, the United States’ policy on Diaoyu islands, the reactions of the Chinese government and oversea Chinese,the "Diaoyu islands issue"in the 1978,and so on. The New York Times’ reports on Diaoyu islands were filled with contradiction. On the one hand,some reports were quite neutral. On the other hand,some maintained strong ideological prejudices. Such a contradiction stemmed from the cold-war mentality within the framework of the U.S.-Japan alliance. |
