摘    要:本研究考查了中国大、中学两个层次英语差生的归因方式之间的异同,以及同一层次内部归因方式的异同。首先,通过开放性调查,获得了中国大、中学生归因方式的几种主要倾向。在此基础上,设计并实施了一个半封闭式的问卷调查,考查了大、中学差生的归因方式。研究发现中国英语学习者对英语学习成败有着一些新的归因方式,大、中学差生在归因方式的倾向性方面没有差异,但各层次内部差生的归因方式之间有着显著差异。

Abstract:A contrastive analysis of the attribution differences was made between poor Chinese-speaking college and high school English learners.A preliminary survey with an open-ended questionnaire yielded several types of attribution.These types of attribution served as the basis for a quasi-structured questionnaire,which was used in the main survey.The results of the main survey showed that the Chinese learners had some new types of attribution for their English achievements.The two levels of learners did not differ significantly in their preference of attribution types,but significant differences were found among the learners within each level.
