| Abstract: | In Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty the economy in Yangzhou was booming making it one of the most prosperous consumer-cities.In pursuit of fashion,inhabitants in Yangzhou,especially the women,cared much about their clothes,which were rich and extraordinary.This paper tries to reveal the colthes-fashion of the women in Yangzhou in Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty from their hairstyle,head omaments,make-up,hand omaments,clothes,shoes and socks,and so on. |
