| 摘 要： | 动词在语言中占据着重要地位，其习得对语言习得有着重要价值，动词间往往存在复杂微妙的语义关系。丈章简要介绍了两个较有运用潜力的动词语义数据库：WordNet和Verbocean，用实例显示在《高级英语》课程教学活动中如何利用动词语义数据库来指导学生习得英语动词，以增强学生对荚语动词语义的敏感度，促使其了解和认识动词问语义关系以区分易混淆动词，并最终提高语言表达的地道性、丰富性和多样性。

| Abstract: | As a significant component in a language,verbs tend to show complicated meaning relations and the command often serves as an important indictor of successful language acquisition.This paper describes WordNet and Verbocean,two semantic databases with valuable potentials for language teaching and learning.Examples are given to show how these databases may be used in teaching and learning practices of Advanced English to help students achieve a greater sensitivity towards the semantics of English verbs,better comprehend meaning relations among verbs,and eventually improve the idiomaticity and diversity of their English. |
