| 摘 要： | 实施西部大开发战略是我国现代化战略的重要组成部分，农业可持续发展是西部大开发的战略重点。西部地区农业可持续发展面临自然条件差、市场环境差、人口素质低及基础建设差等问题。农业可持续发展可选择的对策：统筹规划，因地制宜开发农业资源；努力改善生态环境，建立集约化的农业生产体系；优化农业结构；加强农业科技进步和农村教育及增加农业投入等等。
