| 摘 要： | 不落夫家习俗在中国南方许多民族中普遍传承，关于这一习俗的产生原因和性质，学术界一直争论不休。但不落夫家并不是母系制向父系制过渡阶段的产物，而是聘娶婚出现后，聘娶婚与自由择偶婚俗复合所产生的一种特殊习俗，即举行结婚仪式后，须经过较长时间的过渡，夫妇由偶尔同居转为共同生活，女子的居住地由娘家完全转移至夫家，婚姻缔结的全部过程才算完成。

Being Free to Choose a Spouse,Betrothal Marriage and Marriage Custom of Living with Mother’s Family--On Woman’s Living Place Shift in Marriage Among Southern Minorities |

| Abstract: | The marriage custom of living with mother’s family has been widely passed down among south?ern minorities in China. And in academic world there is still dissented about this custom’s properties and the causes leading to its coming into existence. This custom is not the product of the transformation from a matriar?chal society into a patriarchal society but a special custom that appeared when betrothal marriage and mar?riage of being free to choose a spouse mingled. This custom can be interpreted as after the wedding ceremony the couple should go through a transitional period of cohabitation occasionally before they decide to live togeth?er and from then on the woman’s living place will be shifted from the woman’s family to the man’s, thus the whole process of concluding the marriage is eventually completed. |
