| Abstract: | The main problems existing in current textbooks of school physical education theory and the assumption of setting up the system and contents in a new textbook of school physical education theory were discussed. The reform of school physical education theory textbooks should be based on the characteristics and laws of school physical education. Attention should be paid to absorbing the forward looking theoretical research achievements. |
