| 摘 要： | 焦仲卿、刘兰芝的悲剧，根本上是由于封建礼教以及家长制的迫害而致，这是目前学术界的共识，但其具体原因尚可探讨。社会转型期新旧价值观的激烈冲突与东汉末年的经济状况以及由这种经济基础决定的上层建筑是造成焦刘悲剧的社会原因；深刻烙在焦刘二人身上的封建文化以及焦刘二人的性格亦是造成他们悲剧的重要原因。社会、文化和性格等多方面的综合因素，把焦刘二人一步步推上了绝望的道路。焦刘二人的悲剧有其深刻的思想意义、美学意义、题材意义和现实意义，至今仍给世人以莫大的启示。

| Abstract: | The paper thinks that the tragedy of LiuLanzhi and Jiao Zhongqing is because of the conflicts between the new value standards and the old one and the social changes,and their characteristics as well.The social,aesthetical and practical significance of the tow persons bring us much more inspiration for the value of life. |
