| Abstract: | Huang E, a poetess in the Ming Dynasty, styled herself Ximei, was a native of Suining County in Sichuan province. She lighted the application of literary quotations in her works,which enables her to enjoy a long fine reputation in the Chinese literaryworld. the great number and wide variety of the quotations, the flexibility of her applicatiom skills is typical of her application of quotations, which stems from the meaning of a quotation itself, her social background and her own life experiences. |
