| Abstract: | Yan Fu's theory of translation reflects China's history and culture of that time, embodies simple dialectical thoughts, blends Chinese ancient theory of translation with Chinese theory of literature and art and anesthetics. It takes on an epoch-making significance, an ever-lasting influence. Some important inspirations have been drawn on how to treat and develop China's traditional theory of translation. |
