Abstract:Testing of CLT has long been a question of heated discussion in the field of language teaching. Testing of speaking, as a means of testing learners' speaking competence, its credibility and effectiveness have been much concerned. To make it objective and impartial, the writer holds that it is necessary to train teachers to be qualified interlocutors and assessors.
