| 摘 要： | 赫钦斯担任芝加哥大学校长期间,主持了美国高等教育史上最激进、最彻底、最全面的通识教育改革.本文通过对历史文献的梳理,按照历史时段的划分,比较详细地展示了当年改革的详情--缘起、发展,以及它所遭遇的挫折,本文还介绍了赫钦斯离任后的芝加哥大学课程改革,并在此基础上分析了赫钦斯改革的得失.
